MOVIE AFTER A LONG TIME

Before 29th Aug 2009, Oh!!!!!! 5 days of busy schedule in office... preparing some essential stuffs in office along with my Boss.... and the days were hectic....and the damn cold had joined with that....... hectic days man!!!!!.... suddenly one night got scared, whether got infected with SWINE FLUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... next day doctor gave a contradictory statement of symptoms of swine flu!!!! bit recovered from cold from tha point/........... its true.. its u.. ur mind that relives you from the situation.......

So yesterday night me and My roommate Ram!! jus had dinner and started for a casual walk on the road..... sooooo bored..and I need a change of mood.... so Ram Should we go for a movie?? jus a gun shot yes from Ram............ okey we are goin for a movie... so jus went home again, grabbed some shirts and shorts.. took my car and we r on the highway for the movie..........Yeah forgot to tell u... Jus called my Bro Ela for movie.. but he missed it to join us.......any ways we are in the highway to the Movietime multiplex in Goregaon Hub at 22.00 hrs Night......... go 2 tickets and the damn show is at 22.50 Hrs ...............
Soooo How do we eat the time........... Mc Donals????? yes..... but i didn't like anything to grab thr.... My frnd jus had a Icecream.......and went to the theatre entrance by 22.15!!!! Heyy u need to finish the eatable here u r not allowed?????? watz this.. ram is yet to finish his ice cream.. to enter into the theatre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was really jammed....thought for a coffee may be... so had good coffee... Im not sure whether It would be gr8 if I have the same now.. But It was gr8 that time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huf ...more 30 minutes for the show..........so jus relaxed and of course we took some funny pics wit the posters!!!!!!!!!!!!...

So the movie started..its C 10 and C11 we sat.............. wow.... the movie jus started and it was cool right from the start... the screen play was really really good... I loved the conversation in the movie man.... Almost half of the movie is converation and still its intersting!!!!!!!!!!!........... huff its one Hr and I donno how the time jus passed away.....its interval............

Ohh Ryder and the Garber.....of course Walter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn..serious converstaion with hell lot sof comedy man.......... i loved it...... so movie is over.....I recommend you all to see atleast once guys......... U will like it...


But dont try for romance... It will not work out.. bcoz .......many couples jus left after 15 mins watching the movie.... So no romance at all.............Anywayz we jus went to have some good time,... and the movie gave it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


So jus came out to start home.....I cont belive this...its started pouring outside....yeah jus esacped.....by getting into the car when it really really hitting big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i need to take a right turn...travelled 2 mins ahead..a clean road....yeah to my surprise no rain!!!!!!!! damn had a right turn and reached the movie place... it is pouring again.........such a clean line of discreation with in 1 KM distance.... i donno,,....funny experiance..........So reached home around 1.30 Hrs............. seriously I was tired........... nothing I could remember.. I jus slept!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the movie was gr88888888.......... Jus watch it!!!!

So wat made me to write about this....After nearly 3 years I really enjoyed a movie and the way we went for a movie!!!!!!!!!!! jus a 1 sec thought we went for a movie!!!!!!!!!!!

When ever I hear the word "TAX", "IT" " RETURNS"............ im jus getting so disturbed, All my veins are getting straighten up, My blood is no more running at normal speed, My heart is doing overtime, and working beyond the prescribed workflow, and the prescribed( Stupid Heart not understanding that hez not goin to get paid for this). My Brain is scattring its files all over the place... Totally the whole system is not the way it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!........... Dont be such a stupid.....( I can hear this word from all who are reading this!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Im again saying, nomore Im stupid!!!!!!.... Thought a lot, spent a lot on that( I mean my time)....nothing helped me.......so wat can u do for that......thats how everyone has been here......why are u jumping now( A very right question from ur side to me?).... I agree Im jumping here.............. When a kid jumps parents would listen, or rather the kid would attract the surrounding people......( The reason I mentioned KID is .....yes Im a Kid in front the Indian Economy , Indian History , many 5 years plans, many other factors that might or which is directly or indirectly affecting the TAX stuff....) Im jus a 5 Year old boy- only last 5 years Im paying my taxes, in front of people who are paying for many years, and they are equally old accordingly....... the age here is relative.......

So a Five year old boy is getting angry about what he is spending.....why not the old enough people dont think about this...........Again you are acting funny and stupid.....thats wat all ur saying.....( Jus let us know what exactly you wanna tell!!!!!!)/

Im ready to tell..but I dont need any story listeners here.. If so please close the page, bcoz you all were qualified only upto this sentence to read.

Who are you to judge this, let us know the hell!! that you wanna say, and we shall decide further!!!!!!! Okey.......listen now.

"So watz the use of paying my taxes to this nation"......and if every single person is trying hard to pay his taxes( this is not directly, bcoz he himself trying to be in a better financial position each year, and obviously he is trying hard for increasing the tax amount aswell).

As a single person, Every one would be paying the taxes now which would be their first jobs salary.....So all are pround that earning for the nation, but where it is getting reflected directly........... I know government is doin lots of gr8 stuffs....poverty line, increasing this, increasing that.......... For all your Kind information Im the citizen of this Country and I dont need any excuses apart from the result and the solution( This is wat I always listen from my Management ....Since they are paying me!!!!!!!!!.... So Now Im paying taxes, and why the hell you cannot show me the results........)

So watz lagging there for this solution and results, may be transperancy.......between me and the country...... Could be.....There is a fair enough gap......U dont need to know about government secrets.....We are publishing the BUDGETS every year ..If you want go and read it........... This would be a typical....non-performance, non-capable , not fit for, persons answer..........

I have a solution .........why cont a portion of the tax money from each individual can be summed up to start a firm or a Industry from the TAX money, make that as a public concern, start a business and employ all our generation on that company, Try hard, U know that ur money is growing in that company, and every individuals contribition is growing... HEllo my frnd....even now the same thing is happenning, but u r not aware, Government is investing all your money on various projects..and helping you with better Infrastructure...dont you know that......Bull shit.........I dont need your help from this money....

Jus use the money ( I mean the profit out the firm I was discussing) only to pay out the world banks credit...dont put that in politics............. Keep a seperate account for that, I swear we will pay out the credit of the India's in world bank...

Every one was able to pay out their car loan, home loan, inspite of paying taxes, Cont they be happy more to pay a little more as taxes to see something is happenning infront of their eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definetly yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

DIGITAL INTERMEDIATE PART III---- RESOLUTION

The term Resolution all over the place and chain of DI, Is it so important??????????.... yes ofcourse..thats the base of the DI, Its nothing like, wat u take on a New Year or on ur Birthday( I mean the resolution'... lol).......no more comments or comedy here.. we are so serious learning and talking about technology.......okeyyyyy.........now to the exact thing... Resolution is something to understand easily is jus look at the picture ultimately its a unit of PIXEL... then now, what the hell is pixel....!!!!! dont keep us bored with too many techno words!!!!!!... no way....need to pass thru.....so to define pixel...Let us follow a simple analogy....jus draw a line with dots ...given the lenght of the line is fixed, only u can vary the number of dots....so at any given point of time.. the number of dots can vary to make the line as a clean line...... More the dots more proper the line...less the lines...more human thinking energy is required to get it convinced as line( lol!!!! dont imagine to draw a line with jus 2 dots.....its more towards geomentry and other maths stuff then.... take it easy!!!!!!!).......

So the common resolution defined in DI is 1K, 2K, 4K, 6K and max till now ppl speak upto 8K( who know the actual meaning of that K!!!!!!!!! lol.....anyway we are not going to leave it....we will drill down to pixel to know about it)

I here jus have posted a picture that which is the same image in 2K and 4K.....let us see it first to talk more abt it!!!!!!!!!!

Jus see the pic above,......sorry..some formatting issue....the left image is a 2K one, and right is the 4K one....so its something that u see a image from the aircratf @ different altitudes the same image!!!!!!!!!!!! funny....anyway that's how the technology.....so how is it possible...wat is the use of this in DI............ The term resolution starts at the initial stage of the Project and last till the last stage of the project chain...Any changes on this measure would affect the quality of the output badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DIGITAL INTERMEDIATE - CELLULOID-PART II

So yes.... DI is something which could cause a very strong Impact on the Film. There are many ways to perform a DI, so the conventional way of FILM Printing, and grading would change when its being took for DI.

A very simple process and necessacity of doing DI would be a DOP's ( Director Of Photography's) choice of the PRODUCTION's hoice, If DOP, then most of the time for enhancing his creativity, and often to hide his mistake's which had happened during the Shoot may be...... Hope No comments from DOP's.. jus kiddin!!!........ ok.

So wat does on the Celluloid happens when a DI is performed..... Nothing its like ...reaching the destiny after a round" Its like Celluloid to Digital and Digital Back to Celluloid.

A proper DI at a proper studio would be done at a top most care, since its a valuable material thats been shot spending precious time, Initially the Celluloid would be scanned at a very High resolution and stored as Digital files that can be processed for any changes via software for enhancements and then would be recorded back to Celluloid in a High Resolution .

There are many standards for Image Aquistition and Recording, which would be explained briefly on Part III.

So typically now the DI process would go through all these processes Negative Shot------> Scanned as Digital Files--------> Image enhancements and Image manupulations------> Image color changes( Often Referred as Grading in DI term)--------> Recorded as Celluloid again.

From the end product conventional Prints for Theatre screening can happen......

Digital Intermediate- Part I

Conventional Celloloid DI

For any lay man, including me( 6 years back) Digital Intermediate( DI henceforth called in this document) is very strange term hearing out in Cinema Perspective, because Editing, Printing, Projectors are the common words heard about Cinema and related.

But Believe me Cine is no more a word in this era( rather in any era), Its a technology which uses almost all the latest technologies in the world, anything you Pointout , I swear I can map that to cinema production or Post Production in today's scenario.

So What the hell is DI then, calm down, Im gointo get into thatnow.

So where do you see your movie, In the theatres, and in the TV's, so anytime did you felt any difference in observation between those two places......... Dont try to fool me around saying the place is different... Ofcourse Yes, I mean Visibly did you ever felt the difference, If you can feel the difference then You can easily Feel What is DI.

Ok a very small example, When you see a movie in a theatre, we are bound to see all over raining in the screen, I mean the stratches on the print, and the reason could be several possible reasons, but when you see the same movie after a due course of time on TV( Please note, either broadcast or a High Quality original DVD that Im talking about, else you see all natural disaters happend to that movie, while watching a Internet Compressed streamed, low quality movies), the raining and other things would be less and much clean, crisp color..well defined sharp edges. So wat ever explained is an anology for DI, this is not DI exactly..... DI is something more than this.

So we should see the same in Part II more elaborately...............

MY EXPERIMENTAL MOVIE

This is all about my experimental Movie...

Hmm... some 3 years ago,.. too crazy in the early stages of job.....so ethu about the job and movies, thirst to know more abt watz happenning with in a movie production..and a strong desire to make a movie as a learning process.......... all these led to this expermental movie.. " THE WAY"

Story was jus a one line, actually came to post this movie for a short film contest, where at those time, nearly 3000 movies were submitted along with us.........no way " THE WAY " got selected or initially screened............... but on the public theatre...so much of responses and critics abt the same.

So BAsically PP and Thiru were the two guys started fine tuning the script, and one Joseph gave the hint on the one line of the story. Gopi is the one who had done the role in the movie for us.

The movies was took in a budget of Rs 3500, editing and other stuff were managed with my friends effort, Basically the movie production took place in our Native Place called Ranipet. A strong story board was made ready, all our relatives were dumped to the bus that was rented for 3 Hrs( the actual cost involved), and started rolling camera, so many shots were NG,....... but gave rebirth on the editing..........some of the shots had a good camera angle.......and a very funny experience to play around with reactions and light aroung the tiny little hole....which could spread a big ray out later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHEVY UVA--- MY FIRST CAR

Lots of thinking, so much of questions on mind, Stupid, do u need a car, another " pp" inside my mind saying, what the hell r u going to do.. if not buying a car....ok ok ...started let us first know driving b4 buying a car' a worth thought' isn't..so pp started going driving school.....the worst thing is he changed 3 masters who tought him driving.. no frequency match!!!! hmm yeah.. the first master( so called person for teaaching driving)....... on the very first day..paid all the fee and started, the person on the drive session asking for guru dakshana" the so called bribe" for teaching....NOt so comfortable with the guy....1 week went jus like that..and the person is no more so inclined to teach the actual stuff on car driving....started asking about some laws( gave me one page printed page with all traffic laws and mugg up the same)... I too weak in it..... so atlast had a fight and stopped the driving session.

Went Kolkatta for official purpose and came after 2 weeks....started with another master...dropped for some silly reasons...again another master....ok he is much better at the start....so PP got the Lic some how..........................

Now this s time to buy a car.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....started test driving of almost all the vechicles who accepted to show a test drive.....started with WagonR.. skoda-fabia, Mahindra Logan... Chevy Spark....Ford fiesta....Getz...oopsss all most all,.... good that gained confidence on each test drive......finally ... UVA.........first thing I noticed when we entered into the car is the space and the majestic Dash Board...looks like a Big car....but a small one...nice design....better price...so stopped thinking......and booked the same.

Huff AUTO LOAN in HDFC.................a Big pain Guys!!!!!!!!!!!1 some how got out of it..........so after that "PP" is the owner of the CAR now.............njoyed the drive...and still njoyin!!!!!!!!!!!!
